The Only Way To Heaven

The Problem Keeping Us From Heaven

The Bible teaches that “all [people] have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24 ESV).

Sin is any thought or action that goes against the will of God.  Sin separates us from God and will eventually result in eternal judgment if it is not dealt with properly. (James 1:15, 4:17)

The problem is that our sin blinds us to the truth about God and his great mercy.  People are born ignorant of God and his will.  For that reason he has made himself known to us today through the Holy Bible.  God’s desire is that you would take the time to know him.

The Solution

Jesus Christ came to reveal who God is and how much God truly loves us.  He did so by coming down from heaven, living a perfect life among us, and dying to pay for our sins.  The only reason he could do this is because he is God in the flesh.  Eternally one with the Father and Spirit. (John 14:9, 11)

His death is the perfect sacrifice that has been given on our behalf. Jesus has paid for our sins.  There is nothing we can add to that work!  Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved! (Romans 10:9)

The only way to Heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.  Christianity is a religion based on a relationship with God.  You have an open invitation to enter into a relationship that will result in forgiveness, joy, and everlasting peace. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

What To Do To Get To Heaven

Genuine faith will result in a genuine response to God’s love.  The proper response to the good news of salvation is to believe the message is true.  Genuinely believing will result in a commitment to stop doing what you know is wrong and asking God for forgiveness for your sins.
